Pulmonary and Nasal Drug delivery training
RDD® international meetings present state of the art science in the areas of pulmonary and nasal drug delivery. However, laboratory scientists and managers new to the field, as well as recent graduates or new hires need convenient access to basic training in inhaled drug delivery so they can quickly become knowledgeable and productive. RDD has partnered with experts in several aspects of aerosol drug delivery to develop modular, web-based training programs to meet this need. |
 |
Each RDD pulmonary or nasal training module is:
- Structured to allow the listener access to a multimedia technical presentation comprised of slides and voice over by a well known expert.
- The slides and recording can be accessed 24/7 from any internet enabled multimedia PC with no need to download special software.
- Each presentation can be viewed at one sitting (most are 30-60 minutes long) or in segments which can be repeated or reviewed over several days.
- When the listener feels they have mastered the content they have the opportunity to test their understanding of the material by attempting to answer a series of randomly chosen questions from a question bank.
- Those scoring more than 80% are able to print a certificate documenting their successful completion of the module.
The following presentations coordinate with a new book Respiratory Drug Delivery: Essential Theory and Practice by Stephen Newman which is available for purchase now.
Existing and future presentations will eventually cover a wide range of technical subjects covering all aspects of pulmonary and nasal drug delivery.
