To rapidly develop our growing products pipeline, we are looking for a candidate with strong expertise in development of inhalation drug delivery devices, with demonstrated ability to successfully lead global projects from early development through to transfer to commercial production. In addition, you would also be supporting generation of global registration documentation. The position offers opportunities to work in multidisciplinary and international teams by initiating and leading innovative technology programs in the inhalation and parenteral drug delivery area ensuring the implementation of the approved project strategy and quality of deliverables within the department. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing, mentoring and coaching other associates within the group. Requirements: Bachelors in Engineering or equivalent. Minimum of 8 years directly related experience as Medical Devices expert within pharmaceutical industry. At least 4 years experience in the inhalation devices. Novartis - Engineer 1 / Mechanical Engineer – Inhalation (Job ID - 70184BR) To rapidly develop our growing products pipeline, we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer (or equivalent) with strong expertise in the development of inhalation drug delivery devices. You will be responsible for device development engineering activites, both internally as well as in collaboration with external partners. As an end-to-end developer this comprises all development stages from concept through to industrialization and transfer to Pharmaceutical Production. Besides this, the position will offer opportunities to work in multidisciplinary and international teams. Exploration of new technologies and involvement in scientific projects are further options within this position. You will be working in a communicative & dynamic environment with a flat hierarchy. Requirements: Minimum B.Eng or equivalent. Good knowledge of English (oral and written). Knowledge of German is an advantage. Successfully demonstrated several years (minimum of 3 years) of directly related experience as expert within the industry. Excellent track record of innovation, creativity, problem solving and productivity in projects. Proven key contributions to development projects and marketed products. Good knowledge of software and computer tools. Thorough knowledge of GLP, GMP drug product Manufacturing. Fundamental knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements for medical device design controls and combination products. Good communication skills.
